My stay at Savannah Gateway, Country Inn & Suites was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, located on the first floor with an indoor pool, were decent, but lacked a welcoming feel. Despite being treated and sealed for bedbugs, they were just okay. The service was commendable, with a respectful and helpful staff making the experience pleasant. The location, while convenient with nearby restaurant options, fell short in terms of breakfast offerings and cleanliness. The absence of an in-house restaurant was notable, but the hotel's willingness to honor agreements added a positive touch.

Getting ready for my best friend's wedding, the hotel proved to be the perfect spot with promised amenities. However, there was an issue with smoke lingering in the room over the past 6 years. The service was friendly and welcoming, although not without a minor hiccup when the manager inquired about a smell in the room. The location, though cute and close to I-95, lacked a view of the highway and suffered from some roaches in the freezer. The dining options were satisfactory but fell short of expectations. Despite some drawbacks, the outside of the property was nice and clean.
